Algunos de los originarios del shoegaze salieron de su escondite y resurgieron con tours de reunión e incluso con música nueva. El próximo 29 de enero, Cherry Red Records lanzará un álbum de cinco discos que documentará la historia de dicho género. Se titulará Still in a Dream: A Story of Shoegaze 1988-1995.
El álbum estará conformado de 87 canciones y contará con grandes colaboraciones de Ride, Slowdive (quienes vienen al NRMAL 2016), The Flaming Lips, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Spacemen 3, Cocteau Twins, Luna, Medicine, Bardo Pond, Pale Saints, y muchísimos más.
